Lubrication-free

The plastic ball bearings used are lubrication-free and require no further lubrication with grease. This means that the conveyor roller does not have to overcome the resistance of the lubricant and always runs smoothly. You achieve savings in three ways: with regard to maintenance, weight and price.

Food-compatible

Some of our conveyor rollers can be used safely in the food and beverage industry. They are resistant to chemicals such as fatty acids or grease. This is certified by the European Commission with Regulation 10/2011/EU based on Regulation 1935/2004/EC.

There are several factors to consider when selecting conveyor rollers. First of all, load-bearing capacity is a decisive criterion. The conveyor roller must be able to safely bear the weight of the transported goods without deforming, sustaining damage or causing downtime. The durability of the conveyor rollers is also of great importance. They should be made of materials with high wear resistance to ensure a long service life.

Rolling friction must also not be ignored. The conveyor rollers should have an optimum surface finish to ensure sufficient grip on the conveyor belt or the transported goods. This contributes to the stability and safety of the conveying process. Ease of installation and maintenance also play a role, as downtimes of the entire conveyor system are thus avoided.
