Product description
robolink® W draw-wire robots - multi-axis articulated arm robot complete module up to 6 degrees of freedom
Our robolink® W draw-wire robots can be used individually and flexibly. It has up to six degrees of freedom and can be equipped with or without a control system. The draw-wire robot can be used for applications with precision requirements of 2.0mm with a load of up to 0.5kg. This type of articulated arm robot is typically used with cycle times of > 7s.
  • Arm length can be freely selected
  • Carrying handles
  • Connections for motor and sensor cables
  • Compressed air connection for pneumatic components
  • Integrated cooling fan
  • Service life: 100,000-150,000 cycles

The plastic joints are connected by aluminium tubes, which can be manufactured in specific lengths for each articulated arm. To reduce weight further, there are also options for carbon fibre or reinforced plastic tubes. The actuating wires are guided through the arms. These are specially developed Bowden cables. This method allows flexibility in the design phase, from 1 DOF up to a maximum of 6 DOF
