Product description
Switch cabinet integration for Universal Robots

The EPSON unit enables a simple and intuitive system for robot control and programming, making it easy to get started with automation. Direct switch cabinet integration enables a simple and ready-to-connect solution. As a result, the 7th axis can be moved within a very short time. The solution is currently possible with the following Universal Robots kinematics: T3, T6, VT6. A master control system is not necessary.

If you want to use your own (robot) control system, that's no problem either.

Alternatively, it is also possible to operate each axis individually with a control system. For example, with our igus® D1 dryve motor control system. With this control architecture, you need one motor control system per linear axis or system per linear axis or motor and an additional master control system which controls the coordination of the movement.
The motor control systems are not a component of the part and can be ordered from us as an option. Master control system is currently not offered by igus.

Application examples
Typical applications of our 7th axes include pick and place applications, welding applications and much more.

Optional accessories
ZLW-20200S-7TH-EPSON-01-XXX

If you are not sure whether the robot is right for your application, feel free to contact us for a demo.
