Robot and motor control systems

The cost-effective and individually adaptable robot arms from igus® can be supplemented with different control concepts. A solution is available in the form of the industrial control system that is made by the company Commonplace Robotics GmbH and has been specially designed for robolink® D. It is supplied with an easy-to-use software. With the help of the software, the motion sequences of the robot are displayed and can be programmed and controlled in a manner that is easy to understand. The modular robolink® principle makes the robot arms usable with a self-programmed controller as well, thus offering maximum modularity. Due to the combination of robolink® gripper arm and control system, monotonous tasks, e.g. in quality assurance, assembly or commissioning, can be automated easily and the work sequences can also be coordinated effortlessly.
