Test reports of the measuring system cables

Discover all our test reports on the durability tests for our measuring system cables here.

Measuring system cable CF113.038.D

Test number:4692
Bend radius55mm (factor 7.6 x d)
Service life:32 million strokes
In this test, the life expectancy of the CF113.038.D was to be analysed in an e-chain with a 55mm radius. With a test result of over 32 million double strokes, it was confirmed that the cable meets the high demands of the machine tool.

Use of the CF113.D in practice

The cable of the CF113.D family is used, e.g., in gantries for the interlinking of machine tools. There, chains are installed in long travels and these sometimes move at extremely high speeds in order to transport production parts from one machining centre to the next. In most cases, the environment is faced with an oil film, which makes it necessary to force an oil-resistant jacket to achieve good service life.

Measuring system cable CF11.002.D

Test number:3479
Bend radius:75mm (factor 7.1 x d)
Service life:66 million strokes
In this test, the life expectancy of the CF11.002.D was to be analysed in an e-chain with a 75mm radius.
A test result of over 66 million strokes confirmed that the cable meets the high demands of pick-and-place applications.

Use of the CF11.D in practice

The CF11.D family measuring system cable is available for a wide range of manufacturers, and always has one specification incorporated into its design. It is very well-suited to extremely high dynamics thanks to its robust inner jacket, abrasion-resistant TPE outer jacket, and high-quality shielding. Theses specifications qualify the cable for pick-and-place applications. Removing and packaging goods on a high-speed assembly line is an example of an incredibly fast process that of course must be carried out very reliably because time is money.
